Walking in circles

I recently visited the beach Hammockand my team blogger also accompanied me.We had great fun and we actually enjoyed the sand more than the water. While we were talking, vcx told me that humans generally walk in circles when their eyes are blinded Blindfolded .I was really amazed by that piece of fact and i immediately wanted to try that. So,we found a place where there were comparatively less number of people...and i walked with my eyes blinded.Blimey!I did walk along a circle...and a perfect one too.You too can try it when you have large empty space around you because the circle you'll make will be quite a big one.The reason why we walk in circles when we are blinded is that all of us have one of our legs shorter than the other.YES!All of us!Though the difference in length might be small it is appreciable enough to make us move in circles...since one of our legs is shorter we tend to move in a specific direction depending on the leg which is shorter (left or right).I guess 'real' blind people will find it terribly difficult to walk without their third leg (walking stick). This is one cool thing which you can try for yourself.

Cricket world cup

The CricketCricket 1 World Cup, is the premier international championship of men's One-day International (ODI) cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), with preliminary qualification rounds leading up to a finals tournament which is held every four years. The tournament is one of the world's largest and most viewed sporting events. According to the ICC, it is the most important tournament and the pinnacle of achievement in the sport. The first Cricket World Cup contest was organised in England in 1975. A separate Women's Cricket World Cup has been held every four years since 1973. The finals of the Cricket World Cup are contested by all ten Test-playing and ODI-playing nations, together with other national teams that qualify through the ICC Trophy competition. Australia has been the most successful of the five teams to have won the tournament, taking three titles. The West Indies have won twice, while India, Pakistan and SriLanka have each won once.

The world cup mood was dampened by the death of Bob woolmer, who was the coach of the pakistan team at the hour of his demise. He died just 18 hours after the shock exit of Pakistan. It has been confirmed that he has been murdered.Jamaican police are still on the look-out for the culprit.Several speculations are floating around regarding possible suspects but it remains to be seen whether any of those turn out to be true.It has also been officially told that Bob was strangulated. The Pakistan team have been ruled out as suspects by the police and the most convincing theory is that Bob being killed by Pakistani bookmakers. The victim was expected to release names of persons involved in match fixing during 1999.All we can do is hope that the murderer is caught as soon as possible and pray for Woolmer's soul to rest in peace. Why are we here?

Sometimes..when i have nothing to do...i come across this ol' question...what is the basic purpose of life?is it to end it in a good way?why are we here?is this our opportunity to do something?what is it?HW.Longfellow rightly pointed out that...we,humans are here to be remembered...the only known method to attain immortality.Though we die,our art...our work..lives.You may ask...what's the big point in being remembered?A sense of pride? yes. So, everyone in this vast world thrive to deliver their best. Thus, it all boils down to 'survival of the fittest'.This is perhaps the most important phrase we need to remember. Being happy in life is not the same as being successful. So,we must make sure that we taste success before we depart. All these seconds did you wonder why i am talking such things here? Well, you must have.Because i can talk whatever i want to...and this being the first 'real' post i didnt want to get into a particular topic...thus i decided to post about something that crosses my mind too often!

Helloa!

Let me introduce ourselves to the blogging world. I am vinodh (you can call me vyno) and my fellow member is under the name 'vcx' (his parents named him vignesh). We have just finished our school life and it may sound like we are too young to blog....but does it matter? We intend to keep this blog interesting and updated...we will put in our words on whatever's going on in this world and even beyond it! We are basically chennaites and we do have lots of common interests which you will get to know when this blog gets to grow. Comments and suggestions are always welcome and here's vyno posting for the first time with hope that this blog will grow big!
